Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms describe how Food Secret subscriptions work. They form part of our Terms of Service. Food Secret is operated by D23 Ventures Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (registration number HE 489062).

1. What you get

A Food Secret subscription unlocks the App’s premium features, including unlimited meal and barcode scans, the full 0–100 score and life-impact reading for every food, unlimited food and weight logging history, allergen alerts, the iOS widget, and Apple HealthKit write-back. Free features remain available without a subscription, but with usage limits.

2. Plans, prices, and length

Food Secret subscriptions are offered in the following plans:

• Weekly — billed every 7 days. Reference price: USD 3.99 per week.
• Yearly — billed every 12 months. Reference price: USD 79.99 per year.

Prices are shown in your local currency on the in-app paywall before you confirm the purchase and may vary by country, taxes, and any Apple-controlled regional pricing adjustments. The price shown on the in-app paywall at the moment of purchase is the authoritative price.

3. Free trial

Where offered, the free trial gives you full access to premium features for three (3) days at no charge. The free trial is available only to first-time subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method on file with Apple will be charged for the first billing period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.

4. Automatic renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the subscription you selected. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device after purchase.

5. How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap Food Secret, then tap Cancel Subscription.

If you cancel, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the current paid period. Cancellation does not produce an immediate refund.

6. Refunds

All payments for Food Secret subscriptions are processed by Apple. We are not able to issue refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are granted at Apple’s discretion under Apple’s refund policy.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase of digital content within 14 days. By starting to use the premium features immediately on purchase, you consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

7. Price and feature changes

We may change subscription prices and features from time to time. Price changes will not affect the current billing period. For price increases, Apple will notify you in line with Apple’s policies, and you will have the opportunity to review and accept (or cancel) before the new price takes effect.

8. Family Sharing

Food Secret subscriptions are not currently enabled for Apple Family Sharing. If we enable Family Sharing in the future, the change will be reflected in the App and on this page.
